RISK DISCLOSURE STATEMENT
Titan Protocol — Genesis Key Concession
Last Updated: March 7, 2026
This public statement summarizes the principal risks associated with the Genesis Key concession and operation of a Titan node. Operators should review the complete contractual framework and seek independent advice where appropriate.
Nature of the Concession
The Genesis Key is offered by Titan Protocol as a software concession and operational right. It does not grant governance, equity, or passive income rights, and regulatory treatment may vary across jurisdictions.
Trading and Market Risk
- Autonomous trading involves the risk of material capital loss.
- Past performance does not predict future results.
- Opportunity flow can vary with liquidity, network state, and market conditions.
- Alpha quality may degrade over time.
Technology Risk
- Software defects, infrastructure failures, and third-party dependency issues can affect operation.
- Blockchain congestion, failed transactions, and protocol-level disruptions can affect execution.
- Machine learning and detection systems can underperform, drift, or fail to adapt.
- Execution architecture seeks to reduce adverse conditions, not eliminate all execution risk.
Operator Responsibility Risk
- The operator is responsible for the machine, connectivity, key custody, and operational readiness of the node.
- Capital remains under operator title and revocable control under the current phase, but misuse or loss of credentials remains the operator's responsibility.
- Operating costs remain with the operator regardless of trading conditions.
Regulatory and Legal Risk
- Laws and regulatory interpretations differ by jurisdiction and may change.
- A jurisdiction may characterize the Genesis Key differently from Titan's documentation.
- Compliance, sanctions, tax, and licensing obligations remain the operator's responsibility.
Liquidity and Exit Risk
The Genesis Key should be treated as illiquid. Transfers are subject to approval-based procedures, and Titan does not guarantee a secondary market, immediate exit, or any particular transfer outcome.
Phased Delivery Risk
The Titan system is delivered progressively. Feature timing, technical arrangements, and service configuration can evolve over time, and public descriptions should not be read as guarantees of immediate feature completeness.
